Deep in a kloof in the Groot
River mountains between Steytlerville and Willowmore,
lies a campsite utterly remote from the sights and
sounds of civilisation.
This site is perfect for
those who really want to get away into nature and relax.
Explore the kloofs, hike over the mountains, climb rock
faces, seek out the wildlife or simply sit in the shade
and drink in the peace and quiet.
Altogether there are three
camp sites set in a heavily wooded ravine with plenty of
space and shade for summer days.
Each of the sites has a
stone-built braai place as well as a power point, water
and light.
An ablution block with
toilet, shower, hand basin and sink services the sites.

A short walk down the ravine
brings one to an interesting cliff face with a small
natural spring at its foot. |
